KIT HACH - BW-700
The BW700 Ballast Water Validation Kit combines three handheld tools to quickly and easily assess the risk of a ship’s ballast water not meeting IMO ballast water discharge standards. The kit includes a Hach BW680 portable Flurometer, a Hach DR300 Colorimeter and a Refractometer. The BW700 is recommended and used by the US Coast Guard for the optimal evaluation of ballast water
PORTABLE FLUROMETER (BW 680)
Allows the user to detect photosynthetically active chlorophyll, such as that found in living phytoplankton in less than 3 minutes, helping to quickly and easily determine if the system does not meet the IMO D2 standard.
Provides a simple solution for testing total residual oxide (TRO) levels in ballast water systems that use chlorine or ozone as treatment. This rugged, waterproof tester tests TRO levels at both high (1-8 mg/l Cl2) and low (0.1- 4.0 mg/l Cl2) levels. in less of 3 minutes, providing confidence in the dosing of the treatment system and the measurement of ORT discharge levels.
REFRACTOMETER

FALMOUTH CURRENTMETER (2D-ACM)
The Falmouth brand Doppler current meter model 2D-ACM. It is used to monitor and characterize the predominant current scheme of the receiving environment where the ballast shedding activity is carried out..
MULTIPARAMETRIC PROBE
The multi-parameter probe measures, calculates and stores data on conductivity, salinity, temperature, pressure, speed of sound and water density. They accept additional sensors to determine: dissolved oxygen, fluorescence, turbidity and others. They are used to characterize the receiving environment where the desilting process is carried out.
